Brockwell Spring Relays

This was out first competition as Crystal Palace Masters with so many team members in attendance, and it was a lot of fun. There’s something special about relay racing—team spirit, adrenaline, and the sheer joy of racing against the clock together. And at this year’s Brockwell Relays, the Crystal Palace Masters team showed up in force ready to make waves.

We battled through each leg of the competition, even the breaststroke legs!! Pushing ourselves and each other to keep the momentum strong against fierce competition, we held our own, finishing a fantastic 5th place—an incredible achievement for a debut performance. Swim caps off to the winners Out to Swim, always such a strong team to compete against and we certainly hope to push them next time.

But beyond the race results, the best part? The camaraderie. The cheers from teammates on the poolside, the shared moments of triumph and laughter, and the overwhelming sense that this was just the beginning of something great for our fantastic club.

Would we do it again? Absolutely. And next time, we’ll be aiming even higher.
